🐉 Dragon Days – Be a Part of Your Child’s School Day!
Dragon Days are a unique opportunity for parents and family members to step into a day in the life of our students! Volunteers spend the full school day on campus, supporting classrooms, staff, and special activities — and experiencing firsthand what it’s like to be part of our school community.
💡 Program Goals:
Give family members a real look into a full school day
Offer hands-on support to teachers and staff
Strengthen connections between home and school
✅ Before You Arrive:
Register with Volunteer FCPS and complete at least the Level 1 volunteer process.

📅 On Your Dragon Day:
Arrive at 8:30 AM with your child(ren) at the main entrance to receive your personalized schedule.
Bring your photo ID and sign in at the office kiosk.
Bring your lunch – you’ll have the chance to eat with your student during their regular lunch period.
Dress in layers – you may be outside during recess.
Take notes on what worked well and where we can improve. Your feedback helps us grow the program!
If you have any questions during the day, feel free to check in with the office staff or the contact person noted during your morning welcome.
