Dragon Days

The Dragon Days program's goals are to give family members of students a chance to see what a full day is like in the school, an opportunity to volunteer in the many activities throughout the day, and provide needed support to the staff.

Some activities where volunteers can connect with staff and students:

• Host/serve staff breakfast at 8:00 am.

• Greet students as they arrive to school.

• Be a guest on WDES morning news.

• Be a positive presence for our students during the school day.

• Have a lunch bunch with your child and three peers. Play a board game.

• Help facilitate a game at recess. Play catch or basketball with students.

• Support school staff by monitoring transitions, reminding students to use walking feet and quiet voices.

• Lend a hand if there is copying, laminating, cutting, needed.

• Help out in STEAM, Music, Art, Library, or get active in PE.
